Hungary is in the first stage of realization of reforms launched by the government. The society has just started to become acquainted with the elements of transformation. The population and even those who are concerned with politics are uncertain about what this process will bring. Neither the end of the tunnel, nor its beginning can be seen. We have adopted the social and economical requirements of the European Union, and also its legal system, and we are making progress toward the introduction of the common currency, the euro. The society feels the burden but cannot see the source of its engagement, the income. The basis of the certainty of family existence, and the income of the state is the money that comes from work. This way employment is essential from the point of view of both the individual and the society. If there is enough workplace, those who are able to and want to can get work. If there is opportunity for working, there is health, good social politics, secure system of pensions, all in all an optimist society.
