The paper shows a possible direction of the researches of a developing new discipline, the geography of film. It analyses the spread of Hungarian feature films in three different structure: film festivals, national days of films, film market. Based on statistical date of 25 years (1980–2004) it draws the characteristic signs of the spreading in different continents, countries and shows which settlements (capitals, cities, towns) were the centrums of the Hungarian film culture in the World in this time.
