In the 21st century connectivity is one of the main megatrends of this era. The competition for the connectivity based on complex infrastructural invstments also determines the global economic and geopolitical directions.The New Silkroad (Belt and Road Initiatives – BRI) is such a network that establishes a complex connectivity. The Chinese economic programme comprises the development of the traditional infrastructures, such as the rail infrastructures in order to establish a modern connectivity that can improve the transport volume and so improve the commercial relations between China, Asia and Europe. The China Railway Express (CRE) connects China and Europe and creates a Chinese led rail connection which is an important pillar of the BRI.
